Dear Spirit Song,
Due to an unforeseen conflict on the schedule at St. Therese we are unable to use the chapel tomorrow night, and we’ve decided to cancel rehearsal for this week. Enjoy your evening off! I will be attending the North Central American Choral Director’s (ACDA) conference in Milwaukee from Wednesday-Saturday. I’m so looking forward to all that I will learn there that I can bring back to all of you! (Yes we are still singing Wednesday morning at Woodbury Estates)
We will be singing tomorrow afternoon at Woodbury Senior living. . if you can join us, and haven’t yet signed up, please do so! It’s going to be a really fun time! I’ll send the complete list out shortly.
We will meet at 2:00 at the main entrance to Woodbury Health Care Center, and warm up in the downstairs lounge. . . .Here’s the March sign up:
We are on for the Woodbury Expo on April 4, so make sure and sign up!
We’d love to have a big group for this . . it will be a short commitment (just about an hour, including warm ups). . . . .https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050444abaa29a1f85-april
I am so grateful for this past week: what a lovely evening we shared last Thursday. . .I’m still reflecting on 1 Corinthians 13 as interpreted by our friends in the Hundred Acre Wood. . . I attended a funeral on Saturday morning. . .guess what the main scripture reading was???? Thanks to Monica, Peg, Lisa, and Jane, who all helped in special ways to plan for this time of prayer and reflection, and special thanks to Chaplain Basil for sharing his wisdom with us.
Thanks to Winnie, Jerry, Laurie and Tim for hosting the fun Leap Day Party! What a great way for folks to get to know each other better!
Make sure to sing a little (or a lot!) every day, and spend some time working on your music. The rehearsal tracks for Caritas et Amor are especially helpful!
Take good care, and I’ll look forward to next week’s rehearsal!
Peace and Blessings, Mary
