Mission
To create and share music as an ecumenical community that feeds the spirits of both our members and those we serve.
What is Spirit Song About?

All are welcome. Truly. . . All . . . Spirit Song is an independent, ecumenical community choir, gathering folks from a wide range of different denominations to pray, sing and serve together. . . We gather weekly as a welcoming community to rehearse and prepare music that we will then take out into the community—to various churches, nursing homes, senior centers, concerts, community events, etc. . . Our repertoire consists of both sacred and secular music—music that lifts the spirit. We seek to embody the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control . . . it’s just a really good way to do things. . . All are Welcome. Truly.
What does it cost to participate?
There is no cost to participate in Spirit Song. It is a fact that sheet music is expensive, and we operate solely on donations, and welcome any and all financial support.
When and where does Spirit Song rehearse?
Until Covid-19 struck we were so very grateful to rehearse at the beautiful chapel at St. Therese in Woodbury. During this time of pandemic, when it isn’t safe for choirs to sing together in the same space, we meet virtually, via Zoom, Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:15.
How can I join?
Please contact director, Mary Reimann, and she’ll get right back to you. It’s pretty simple! We will be taking a pause in August and starting up again in September, so that would be an ideal time to join.
Non-profit Status
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization in the State of Minnesota, as of September 27, 2019.
